WORK & STUDY SPAIN

This Work & Study program combines a Spanish course (4 weeks minimum) in several NIK\|LAS destination with a job placement after your course in the coastal regions of Spain.

We offer young student travellers the opportunity to experience the Spanish culture firsthand. Learn or improve your Spanish language skills with an in-country course, and later put your new skills to good use while you work in a 4 or 5 star hotel. After your Spanish course (Standard ), you will have the opportunity to work, allowing you to practice your Spanish while financing your stay in Spain.

Candidate's Profile
This program is designed exclusively for full-time university students from the European Union, Canada, USA, Australasia, Brazil, and Russia. Age between 18-35 years. Participants are expected to be motivated, independent, flexible and open-minded.

Structure of the Program
The NIK\|LAS Study & Work Program consists of 2 phases: 1st: Minimum 4 weeks of Standard Spanish language (available in Barcelona, Cadiz, Malaga, Seville, Salamanca, Madrid, Granada, or Marbella). 2nd: The Work placement may last 2 months or more (available only in Coastal areas of Spain).

I Part - Course
The program is designed to help improve your effectiveness as a Spanish Speaker, so you can be more efficient in your work post. With a higher level of Spanish, you’ll be more likely to land a more interesting position. Arrangements can be made to take extra courses before you start your work placement. II Part: The Work Placement Period
Spain has many popular tourist destinations. You may work in the coastline of Costa Del Sol (Malaga/Marbella), Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Costa Brava (Barcelona), Cadiz and some of the Spanish islands. The area's mild climate is the root attraction that makes it possible to enjoy the beaches and a wide variety of outdoor activities year round. Work placements are in the hospitality industry.

Type of Positions: Bartender, Waiter/Waitress, Kitchen assistant, room maid, Assistant (Runner), Hostess, reception, laundry personnel, animator, maintenance staff, general assistant, restaurant employee, etc.
Minimum wage:	200€ - 400€ including full board accommodation in the hotel

The work period will be:	2 months to 3 months.

On-site Language Skill exam fee:	$150 USD (For non-beginners, who skip the language course phase)

Start Dates:	March - November

Placement Fee:	$965 USD
